"Alright, I'll improvise!" Athena declared, gritting her teeth. She laid out the paper towels and set rika on them, then took off the dirty diaper. The first thing she did was dispose of the dirty diaper by wrapping it in a multitude of paper towels, then throwing it away. She'd take the trash out after she finished cleaning up Rika.

Athena bit her lip, wincin at the sight of the pheses on the child's bottom, then forced herself to wipe her clean, which was just as bad as she thought it was going to be. Finally, and not a moment too soon, she got to the part of putting a new diaper on... except she couldn't figure out how they worked...

She stared a the thing, then pulled out her laptop and googled it.

Heimdall was, by now, almost in as much a state as the baby cuz of the screaming. He clutched his aching head with both hands.

Athena found she'd done okay, but needed baby powder. she ran upstairs and got it, then sprinkled the baby's bottom. she then put on the diaper, at which point the child should cease screaming.

And Rika slowly stopped screaming, drool falling down her chin.

Athena breathed a sigh of relief. "I'd die without google." She said, setting Rika back into her makeshift bed.

[Miranda_]

"Is she going to stay quiet now?"

[spirit_queen]

"I think so. At least as long as she's not..." she checked the screen. "...hungry, or cold, or having gas problems." she sighed. "I am never going to have a child, that's for sure! Not after this!"

[Miranda_]

"I wish I had ear plugs. Even the slightest noise she makes is like a knife going thru my skull."

Athena winced. "Maybe you could go buy some as Shaun in the morning." she suggested.

[Miranda_]

"I will if I have time before work. And if I get enough sleep to be able to remember."
