"Well, he won't think you a spineless wimp better off as a puppy." Athena said, shrugging. "And, in this case, I suppose one must work with what they're given."
"There has to be something." she said. "Just don't lock him out of the house like you used to deny him passage to, er, Asgard." Athena almost forgot the name 'Asgard', as she wasn't very knowledgable in the subject of the Norse deities.
"Wouldn't do any good if I did; he could still get in. Asgard was different cuz Odin was there to back me up, and there was often a good reason not to let him in."
"He can be crafty and clever, he takes good care of his children, and there are moments -rare moments- when he treats me more like a sister than just the woman who tends to pay the bills." Athena said, shrugging.
Athena snorted. "He considers me a friend and he still messes with me." she said. "Like i said, just stop taking it so seriously; to him, it's all a game."
