Heimdall couldn't reply obviously, but the thought made him nervous too. Particularly with Frigg being pregnant too; he hoped she'd come round before the baby was born cuz he didn't want to be responsible for making her and the baby homeless.

Athena scratched his head and sighed. "Well, so long as it isn't me. I wouldn't know what to do with a child." she looked at him. "Wait, you got Frigg pregnant, right? Ouch."

[Miranda_]

Heimdall managed a tiny nod. He sighed.

"I feel sorry for the child. It'll have to grow up under odd circumstances." she said. Athena scratched just behind his ears, wondering if he'd like that.

[Miranda_]

Heimdall did. Automatically, his tail began to wag.

Athena chuckled. "You like that, huh?" she scratched behind the other ear, grinning as she did so.

[Miranda_]

Heimdall was just glad that Loki and Freya weren't around; they'd probably laugh.

Athena knew they would, which was why she was doing this now; they were gone for a while. "If you want, I'll give you a belly rub, too." she said.

Heimdall nodded; he longed for this kind of contact all the time he was around Athena, but she only seemed to be comfortable with doing anything when he was a puppy.

Athena flipped him onto his back and rubbed his tummy, grinning. Freya was right about one thing; Heimdall made a cute puppy.
