Freya had been smooching Loki in the dark, but of course it was light again, so she pulled back.

Loki looked disappointed. "Athena is unlikely to be doing anything with her puppy, so they'll be back soon anyway."

"Which is why I'm not kissing you. It could be awkward for them to see as soon as they get up the stairs. Not unusual, but awkward..."

Athena wouldn't have been surprised if she had caught them. She came upstairs. "Loki, Freya, I've got bad news." she told them as she strode into the living room.

[Miranda_]

"Which is what exactly?" Loki raised an eyebrow.

Heimdall hovered behind Athena; he was unsure about what to do.

"One of the shadows showed itself in your basement, forewarning us that they estimate to be free to wreak havoc in less than a year." she said.

"Less then a year? A shadow? In our basement?"

[spirit_queen]

"Yes." Athena said. "I've no reson to lie to you about something so serious."

[Miranda_]

"So what do we do about it then?"

[spirit_queen]

"You two do nothing yet; I work harder and spend more time on the spell to go with the gem that gives the Sword it's power." she said.
