Athena knew the Swor itself would be of no use; on it was a small gem, no bigger in circumfirence than the iris on one's eye, but it was what gave the Sword its power. Actually, the Sword muted it a bit, for the Soul Stone was too powerful to be used int ordinary curcumstances.
Athena gently took the gem out, then tucked the Sword away. She descended into the basement gracefully and waited for the unknown entity she felt was plaguing the basement to show itself. ![]() |
