"Can't you redirect the power in the sword to the electricity cables or something?"

"No. I would blow every fuse in this house." Athena said. "I think I may be able to fix things, but I'll need someone to carry a flashlight while i work in the basement."

[Miranda_]

"Why not take your puppy?" said Loki, shrugging. "He'll be more use doing that rather than hiding in the corner."

[spirit_queen]

Athena sighed. "Alright. Heimdall, will you hold the flashlight for me?" she held out a flashlight to him.

[Miranda_]

Heimdall took the flashlight with a trembling hand. He was feeling vaguely unsettled with the lights being off.

Athena lead him to the basement. "when we get to the electric box, I'd like you t try to hold the flashlight more steady." She turned. "Heimdall, there's nothing frightening hiding in the-" she opened the basement door, and felt something odd in the air. "I take that back."

[Miranda_]

"It was in the basement at the farmhouse that I saw that weird ghost. I thought it was Freya's ghost, but it can't have been cuz she's not dead."

Athena shushed him, then drew the Sword. "Stay close to me, Heimdall." she warned, her eyes sincere. she began to creep down the basement steps, looking back to make sure Heimdall followed.

[Miranda_]

Heimdall stayed extremely close to Athena, almost shadowing her.

Athena knew the Swor itself would be of no use; on it was a small gem, no bigger in circumfirence than the iris on one's eye, but it was what gave the Sword its power. Actually, the Sword muted it a bit, for the Soul Stone was too powerful to be used int ordinary curcumstances.

Athena gently took the gem out, then tucked the Sword away. She descended into the basement gracefully and waited for the unknown entity she felt was plaguing the basement to show itself.
