Heimdall had jumped at the scream, but he had far more pressing needs to worry about rather than to find out why Aphrodite had screamed. He ran into the bathroom and locked the door.

Frigg was now alone, watching TV and eating.

Nusku once again would've grinned if he could, for this house had a ton of windows, and more moonlight was coming through a large window. Abruptly, Nusku cut off all eclectricity flow from this room, and opened the window, letting the chiil wind blow in. The door to the kitchen slammed shut, and a clicking sound could be heard.

Frigg looked around, "Hello? Who turned out the electricity?"

Heimdall had had a moment's fear when the lights went out. When he'd finished in the bathroom, he washed his hands and crept back to Frigg's side. When she'd spoken, he said, "I don't know. It wasn't me."

Nusku was frustrated now. He needed to get Heimdall out of the room for this work. He senes the washing machine in the basement and focused his energy on that, making it whir and make odd noises. He hoped frigg would yell at Heimdall to go check that.

"Heimdall... go see what that is. And bring up a flash light if you can find one." Frigg ordered.

"Yes Frigg," Heimdall said, and nervously went to the basement steps. He didn't like the idea at all of going down those steps into the endless dark. However, he'd never disobey an order given by Frigg, so he cautiously went down the steps.

Nusku sensed Heimdall's fear and was tempted to follow, but knew he had to ger Frigg first. When he was gone, Nusku immitated how he remembered Odin's voice; booming and with a lot of presence. The different deity empires had had to keep in touch, and Nusku, as messenger, had encountered Odin more than once. "Frigg, how dare cheat on me like that! And with Heimdall, of all people to commit adultery with!" Nusku felt he did a pretty good job immitating Odin's voice.

Heimdall reached the bottom of the steps. The darkness was absolute; he could see nothing. He felt around the cupboards, looking for a torch.
