Helena sighed. "Sorry to bother you, but when was the last time you went to work? doesn;t Lindsey know keeping you from it will make life hell?" she scowled as she showed him the overdue bills. "Unfortunatly, i don't think this issue can be ignored anymore."

[Miranda_]

Shaun was surprised to see Helena there; when she showed him the bills he sighed. "Ages ago; Lindsey won't let me go. I could always call my parents and ask them for money to pay these bills, but I don't think Lindsey will let me go back to work for the moment."

[spirit_queen]

Helena scowled. "But then you'll get fired! And then what? you can't rely on your parents forever! I know it's probably still a while before we lose money, but it doesn't grow on trees, either." she folded her arms across her chest. "Tell Lindsey it's work or poverty, or something."

[Miranda_]

Shaun shivered. "I can't. She'll just hit me."

"then I'll go with you, or something.. her hitting you does nothing but hurting herself. By exhausting you and keeping you from work, she'll actually make life worse for herself in the long run. she's just too arrogant and self-rightious to see it." Helena was too determined to win this arguement to notice she used the word 'self-rightious'(sp?) correctly.

[Miranda_]

"That won't work. She won't listen to me, or you either."

[spirit_queen]

"Then don't ask permission! You're the man of the house, for God's sake! I'll take the blame if you can't handle it. tell her i kicked you out, and I won't let her hit you, or something like that." She was getting quite frustrated with this conversation, seeing how it was going nowhere.

[Miranda_]

"She won't believe that, seeing as it's mostly my house anyway. And she'll just wait til you go to the store and hit me then."

[spirit_queen]

"Then su.ck it up and take it like a man! It' only a slap! hit her back." Helena continued.

[Miranda_]

"I can't hit her back. It's cowardly to hit girls."
