"I'm sure it's a sore-point in your pride, too," Josh winced sympathetically.

"That's right," Loki replied with a frown. "I never wanted to end up relying on Shaun for a roof over my head."

Josh hopped out of the car and politely opened Remy's door for him. "I'm sure; you can barely stand to be polite to one another, so living with him must... well, it just sucks."

Ooc: funny thing is, in the other timeline, since Nessa would be the main money-maker, Remy would sorta end up housewife... or at least taking care of any children. XD Good thing he likes kids...

[Miranda_]

Loki rolled his eyes as he got out the car. "You have no idea. That's why I want to make a success of this career; it was so difficult back when I couldn't get a job and Shaun just assumed I liked sitting about the house all day."

"Naw, you don't seem the type to sit still; even the legends say that, and it's clear some fo those got confused, anyways," Josh said as he dug in his pockets for his keys.

[Miranda_]

"Yeah, well, we know how those can get twisted when it's the people in charge who write the legends."

[spirit_queen]

"Yup. Because apparently all g@y men are child molesters," Josh rolled his eyes. "Maybe I'm not in nearly a bad as a position as you were, but I do feel you when it comes to sh*t-talking," he finally found his keys and opened the door to his neat little home.

[Miranda_]

"I'm not nearly as bad as the Norse legends paint me, that's true." Loki followed Josh inside.

"You're just Trouble with a capital 'T'," Josh said teasingly as he kicked off his shoes.

"I just don't think before I act, is all." Loki sat down on the stairs.
