At that exact moment, Loki received a call.

[Miranda_]

Loki answered his cell as soon as it started ringing. "Hello?"

[spirit_queen]

It was Josh, of all people. "Hello, Remy. Do you hav a moment?" he asked.

[Miranda_]

"Yeah, I've got the time now," Loki replied.

[spirit_queen]

"Well, see- ah- I've earned a reputation now for striking out and making lasting impressions, and one way to do that is through choice of model and... well, I'm not giving up Set, obviously, but I was wondering if you'd be in my show, please? I mean, you're an unconventional-looking man, all tall and- and sharp... you'd leave just the sort of impression I need for my fall collection."

[Miranda_]

"Yeah, I'll do it," Loki replied at once; he never turned down any job offer.

[spirit_queen]

"Great! I'll need to see you soon for measurements and the like; unlike some designers, I never neglect to give my models the correct sizes to wear, including in shoe size," Josh said.

[Miranda_]

"I know about that; that's what they did in the last job I had," Loki said, ruefully. "The shoes were too tight."

[spirit_queen]

"Which, over time, actually damage your feet," Josh agreed. "I want my models to be comfortable; it's the right thing to do, but if people feel the need to look at this from a business stand-point, then models are likely to perform better if they're comfortable in the clothes they're trying to sell."

[Miranda_]

"That's good to know."
