You need to tell him what you meant earlier, try to clear the air. He's probably just as upset as you are right now- and you both can fix it, if you can work on your tempers," Osiros said gently.

Freya just sighed again and put out her cigarette, "It's always easier said than done."

Loki returned the hug. "I do try," he said. "I think the problem is that we're both very hot headed people, and we do clash a lot. She probably thought I was going to come up here and yell at you, but I wasn't ever going to do that. I mean, you're not a five year old."

"I know, but what happens when you don't try?" Osiris said. "Then again, since Isis has denied me ever since I insisted on protection, maybe I'm not the best person to give marriage advice."

"I wouldn't want to be treated as such," said Sky, "Soon enough I'm going to be an adult. Rika is getting closer to 20, and Tanith is 16 too. We grow up so fast, don't we dad?" she smiled.

Freya chuckled, "That's one of the funniest things I've heard in a while, Osiris. I feel sorry for you, I really do. That makes absolutely no sense."

"She believes it's no better them abortion- that is to say, preventing a life from being created," Osiros said with a roll of his eyes. "But I want to be sure I can aptly provide for any future children."

"Well, it's one of the good things about having children as a deity," Loki replied with a smile.

"I just wish I could make more money at what I'm doing, then I could do a lot more for my family than I am at the moment."

"I feel so bad for you, Osiris. That must be so difficult for you. I wish I could help, but beside talking to Isis herself, there's not much else I can do." Freya hugged him, "And I doubt she'd listen to me - or anyone, for that matter."

"You're providing for us just fine. I don't want you to stress out over it. Anyway, I'm going to find Shaun now and apologise..." Sky said, leaving the room to find Shaun.

Loki felt relieved that at least one thing had gone right that day. He decided to go to the pool to relax.

Shaun was downstairs in the den reading the paper.
