"I am so glad to get out of here." Freya rolled her eyes, "Your ex-wife is a b*tch."

Sky looked to Svana as if to say, Thank God the house isn't far.

"She never was like that," Loki replied with a shrug as he started up the car.

"The assertiveness is a new thing."

Svana, being Svana, piped up, "But Miss McCann is very nice to us."

Freya looked at Svana, "I don't doubt she's a good teacher, but she obviously has difficulty being respectful to other adults." She turned back to Loki, "I noticed. Maybe we intimidate her, and she was nervous? I have no clue. You knew her better than I did."

They arrived home and Sky went straight upstairs to her room. Freya said to Loki, "If you plan on talking to her, I'd be careful. She's going through a rebellious phase and I think acknowledging her behaviour, good or bad, will only make things worse."

Loki shrugged. "So what?" he said. "If she misbehaves, I'll punish her like I punished Xander. I don't know about you, but I don't want Sky ending up pregnant and homeless, having wasted her life. Or not getting her dream job cuz she's rude to her boss. Also, I'm her father and she's the child, and she's got to learn that sooner or later."

"Her behaviour now isn't necessarily reflective of how she will behave as an adult, Loki. I just don't want you to ruin your relationship with your daughter, but it's ultimately your choice."

Meanwhile, Serena wearily made her way back to the apartment she was sharing with Od; after everyone had left, she'd worked her frustration out in her dancing.

As such, when she got back, she was both physically and mentally exhausted.

Loki turned on Freya. "It's called 'tough love'," he replied. "And it's a hell of a lot better than letting your brat of a teenage daughter walk all over you just cuz you're scared that if you stop being her best friend, which you're not meant to be anyway, she'll hate you. Big f*cking deal.

"I'm going to tell her that she's got a choice. She can quit being rude to Shaun while we're living in his house, or she can get the f*ck out of here and move into a hostel where she can behave how she likes, but she'll have to go on welfare and feed herself. And you're going to back me on this one, cuz I'm not about to let any daughter of mine become a rude brat."

Od, who now went by the name of Oliver, had made dinner. True, he wasn't an expert at cooking, but could make a mean spaghetti bolognaise, which was what he'd made this night. He went over to Serena and kissed her.

"Tough day at work?" he asked.

She kissed him back softly, then sighed. "You're never going to believe this, but Heimdall, Loki, and Freya all survived..." she then proceeded to tell her boyfriend what happened, admitting that her snapping at Shaun had been wrong.

Oliver waited til Serena had finished, then said, "Wow. That's completely out there and crazy. Of course, we'll have to go and meet them and try and get this sorted out. You can always apologise to Heimdall if you feel bad about snapping at him; I'm sure that'll fix things."
