Their fare ended up totaling $8.35. Rika offered to pay on her credit card. She handed it to the driver, who told her it was declined. "Sure it was." She mumbled and took her card back. She had some spare cash on her, so she gave him a $10. "Keep the change."

The name of the buffet was The Dragon. Rika hadn't been there before, but when she stepped out of the taxi, she noticed that it looked pretty busy for a Tuesday night. "Looks like a popular place," she said to Dustin.

"That means that the food is going to be good," Dustin said.

"As the saying goes, beware the restaurant which is always empty."

"Yeah, but I'm starving and now we have to wait in line to be seated. Luckily it's a buffet though, so I don't have to wait half an hour on top of that for my food." Rika rushed into the line.

The wait took another ten minutes, then they were finally seated. This restaurant had a policy of moving people who were obviously finished to the bar next door after they'd paid; they wanted to make as much money as possible and there was no profit to be made on letting people just idle over drinks at a table when there were people waiting in line.

"Dawww! Well, I'm gonna go to where there's more room to practice... bye!" Svana said, skipping off.

[Miranda_]

Meanwhile, Set was waiting for Aphrodite to organise the meeting with Nessa, to try and finally sort things out.

"Doooone~!" Aphrodite sang, skipping up to the blood-locked Egyptian. "She's fine with meeting you tonight or tomorrow, your pick, desert king."

[Miranda_]

"Tonight would be best, I'm busy tomorrow with a shoot," Set replied.

[spirit_queen]

"Right! I'll text her real quick..." Aphrodite pulled out her iphone and sent Nessa a message, and received a reply within a few minutes. "Ooh, she's headed over now!"

[Miranda_]

"You should stay," Set replied, nervously. "Just in case."
