Keiko hurried and did what she had too. She would only reveal what it was if it turned out to show what she feared.

Cameron went outside, taking out the small bag of drugs from his pocket.

Tina, on the other hand, got a sudden urge to go into Remy's dirty, dark basement without any lights. She followed this urge, but also kept the Sword in its dagger form in her sleeve. she knew something was waiting for her here in the dark, and she had to confront it.

Remy got his aspirin at the same time. He didn't pay any attention to what Keiko was buying; it wasn't any of his business.

Keiko had bagged the item and smiled at Remy, "We done here?"

You come at last. These words were a faint, emotionless whisper in Tina's mind. "Who are you?" tina spun around. "What are you?" She asked, trying to sound like she was in-control but only halfway succeeding.

You mean you know it not? I am you shadow, the very essence of what makes you great. Tina's brow furrowed in confusion, sure this thing was only messing with her. Your emotions and 'virtues' make you weak, pliable. I will one day replace you.

The gears in Tina's head finally began turning. "what about Keiko and Remy? Do they have shadows?" she asked into the darkness. There was a soft, humorless chuckle, then the reply. But of course. All of you immortals have one... even the long gone. Then, strangely, there was a wind, and the lights in the basement flockered on. tina knew now that she was alone once more.

"Yeah, I'm done here," said Remy. "Better get back; we have much to do before 10pm tonight."

Tina stumbled on her way back up the steps, skinning her knee. she ignored this, and continued on her way up; the blood would have to stop eventually, anyways.

Keiko agreed and started walking in the direction of Remy's house.

Soon, they arrived back at the house. Remy was glad to see nothing seemed to have changed; everything was as they had left it, at least, as far as he could see.

Tina came up from the basement at that moment. "Oh, hi, Remy." she said, hiding her left knee behind her right; the last thing she needed was attention for a wound as minor as hers. She turned to Keiko. "Your brother's out back. I wouldn't be surprised if he was doing what he wasn't supposed to, but I had other... things to attend to."
