Aphrodite came into the kitchen humming. "Horus? Will you throw away that pizza box?"

[Miranda_]

"Alright." He did so. He wasn't sure about bringing up the subject about things they could do together during the time when he was too unwell to go outside for long.

Aphrodite kissed his cheek, and lingered beside him, wondering whether she should kiss his mouth.

[Miranda_]

Horus was thinking of going further than a kiss, but he hesitated.

Aphrodite leaned in and kissed Horus, and it was more passionate than gentle.

[Miranda_]

Horus returned the kiss, tho in the back of his mind was the time that Aphrodite had rejected him. Even tho that was a different situation, it still held him back.

Aphrodite pulled back when she noticed his hesitation, thinking she'd gone too far. "I'm sorry... did I go too far? Are you not ready for that yet?"

[Miranda_]

"No, it's not that," Horus said. "It's just... well, last time I asked you, you turned me down."

[spirit_queen]

"Oh, Horus, that was a while ago, back when you only wanted my body." Aphrodite said. "that's why I turned you down... and i blew up in your face because, well, I'll be truthful... I DID want you. The old 'love' goddess isn't gone, I'm still sex-obsessed deep down, but I was determined to keep that part of me locked away and get into a real relationship."

[Miranda_]

"Well, this is a real relationship," Horus said. "It suits me better too, than the persona I took on for a while. That never suited me at all."
