Osiris finally made up his mind to visit, and he left the house; he knew where Aphrodite's place was and what color the house was, so he just walked.

Aphrodite jumped when there was a knock on the door. "Oh! Wonder who could be at the door? I'll be right back, Horus." Aphrodite said, heading for the door.

[Miranda_]

Horus didn't bother to reply.

There was a commotion at the front door, then Aphrodite ran back into the kitchen. "Horus, someone's here to see you!"

At that moment, Osiris came in to the kitchen. "Hi, Horus." He was stricken by how bad his son looked; how come he'd never come to visit before? He shouldn't have let his son get this bad.

[Miranda_]

"Oh. Hi, Father," Horus said with a sigh.

Osiris pulled up a chair. "Horus, I- I'm sorry."

[Miranda_]

This shook Horus out of his apathy. He'd never once heard his father apologising for anything. "What?"

[spirit_queen]

"For abandoning you like this, for leaving you when you so obviouly needed me; i have no excuse for my behavior." Osiris said.

[Miranda_]

"You probably had other things to do. There's no point really in raking over the past."

[spirit_queen]

Osiris shook his head. "Family should always come first, and I blew it." He said, sighing. "Could you ever forgive me?"
