Meanwhile, Freya found out she had just been accepted into a cosmetology class at a local college. She told Loki right away.

"Good for you," said Loki. He was still waiting to hear back from the mechanics course he'd applied to as to whether or not he'd been accepted.

"Thanks. Luckily, with beauty school, I don't need to buy many books. That program is starting next week, and I'm excited." She paused, "Have you heard back about the whole mechanics course?"

"Not yet. I wish they'd just hurry up and tell me, even if it's bad news."
