Aphrodite brushed back some of his hair and kissed his forehead, then sighed and said "I'm tired of getting ready for work the human way." She combed her fingers through her curly hair and it immediately straightened and detangled; she bared her teeth and rubbed them all with her index finger and they were cleaned; she rubber her face with her palms and it was clean. She now looked as though she'd spent all morning getting ready, with the exception that she had no brown eyeliner and that she was still in her pjs.

"I guess it saves time. I wish I could use my powers, but I can't. It wouldn't be right."

"Use your powers to do what?" Aphordite asked as she picked out an outfit for the day.

"I don't really feel like explaining it all right now. Look it up or something."

Horus could control the moon and sun to the extent of creating an eclipse, and controlling how long it lasted. He could move the sun and moon about, as well as control how much light or heat came from either. But obviously, doing so in this era would not be a good idea.

She sighed. "Oh, alright." She went into the bathroom and pulled out a plain plastic jar and opened it to reveal a mysterious cream; it was in, fact, *****phone's, which she'd transferred to the plastic jar. XD Today, though, Aphrodite just swiped some on her lips and it tranformsed into a light gloss, and diped a brush into it and lined her eyes, at which point it turned into a medium brown liner to bring out her eyes while still looking relatively natural.

Horus stayed in bed. He felt as tho he couldn't be bothered to get up at all.

When Aphrodite finished, she kissed Horus and said "You can go back to sleep; I'll be back at lunch time."

"Yeah, see you then; I'll probably go back to sleep."

"Alright. Sleep well." She said, fixing the blankets around him but not quite tucking him in.
