"Maybe even both."

Aphrodite laughed. "You really are my daughter; I was thinking I'd probably end up doing the same thing."

Layla grinned. "Like mother, like daughter, right?" she said.

"Yup." Aphrodite said, grinning. "I bet you cvan get a good time outta him... whne h's not being ignorant. Oh! And, please, Layla, if you're going to try drugs, don't be stupid like I was at your age and get hooked. I don't think you will, but I wanted to get it out there anyways."

"Of course I won't," Layla said. "I want to have fun, not be controlled."

"Good." Aphrodite said. "I'm glad you see it that way. So, Set wanted you to call him when you got back." she giggled. "You're father's such an adorable man."

"I'll do that right away, so he doesn't worry."

Aphrodite handed Layla the phone and told her Josh's home phone number.

[Miranda_]

Layla dialed the phone number. She talked to Josh for a while before he passed her on to her father. She told Set about her first day at school, eventually saying goodbye and hanging up.
