The baby was a girl, with strawberry blonde hair and dark blue eyes. Her skin was bronze, and she cried loudly.

Tina cut the cord and cleaned up the baby, then wrapped her and handed her to her father. "Hold her, please; Aphrodite has a little more work to do."

[Miranda_]

Set took the baby. "I've already picked out a name for her," he said.

[spirit_queen]

After pushing out the afterbirth, Aphrodite asked him what it was.

[Miranda_]

"A girl," Set said, showing Aphrodite the child. "I already chose a name; she's called Layla Alexandria."

[spirit_queen]

Aphrodite smiled. "I think that's a great name."

[Miranda_]

"I picked it specially; both are Egyptian names."

Layla yawned, then her face changed into a minature version of Set's animal head.

[spirit_queen]

Aphrodite giggled. "Aww, Set, look!"

[Miranda_]

"I know. O_o She has that, too, but it doesn't look ugly on her at all. She still looks beautiful."

In fact, Layla looked a lot like her father, with enough of her mother in her to balance her out.

[spirit_queen]

"I think a baby Set-animal is the most adorable thing I've ever seen." Aphrodite said. "Can I hold her?"
