Dustin stood still. He didn't turn to go back, but neither did he carry on walking. "You still want me to go to school tho, and I can't right now. I feel physically sick even at the thought. So I can't come back to the house."

[spirit_queen]

"Then what's wrong, Dustin? Why do you feel sick?" Tina asked.

[Miranda_]

"I don't want to talk about it. I just need some more time."

[spirit_queen]

"Okay." Tina said. "I'll make it look like you transferred to another school, then, though of course you didn't; if it's time you need, then you'll get it."

[Miranda_]

"I guess I'll come back, then. I could maybe do the work at home, I just can't go to school right now."

[spirit_queen]

"That's fine; homeschool can work, if you're willing to try it." Tina said. "I just- I don't know what came over me. I guess I just a lot of things on my mind, and so I snapped."

[Miranda_]

"It doesn't matter now," said Dustin. "I didn't really mean it either; I've been thinking about things too long and it just got to me."

[spirit_queen]

"I know what that's like." Tina said. "you don't have to tell me anything unless you're ready, alright? I love you Dustin; I see myself as you mother, even if I dind't have you myself, or if I'm not married to your dad yet."

[Miranda_]

"I don't even know why I said that. Just forget I said it."

[spirit_queen]

"If you forget about what I said to you." Tina said. She picked up one of his bags.
