"Oh, cool!" Sky said, taking her schedule from Xander. She looked it over and asked Xander, "What classes do you have?"

Ooc: How many classes per semester do they have in America? XD

Ooc: Um, it varies form school to school. My school has seven periods in a day. Some classes are whole-year, though. Language Arts, any history class, a couple of the sciences, and foreing languages are all year. the rest are only half a year. it depends on what Sky has.

"Music Theory, band, Language Arts Brit Lit, Latin I, Biology, American History, and Health." Xander said. "Not in that order, and that's only for first semester."

Ooc: That just confuses me. XD My high school only had 4. And we didn't have most of those classes - at least not in grade 9. I might have to google "American high school subjects", or something. :P


Sky just nodded, still trying to figure out her own schedule. xD

Xander laughed. "Yeah, mom had to explain it to me." He said. "Okay, school year is broken into halves; semester one and semester two. some classes are all year long, and some aren't. The day itself is broken down inot seven periods, with fourth having a break for lunch. For first period first semester, I go to music theory. After that, health for first semester. American history is an all-year class, so I will take that first and second semester. Second semester I'll go to phys ed first isntead of music theory because music theory is a single semester, half-credit course. Second period I'll still go to history. Am I making any sense?"

Ooc: I'll explain. XD

"Um... Well, I certainly don't feel smart right now." Sky laughed, "Can you tell me about my schedule?" she handed it to him.

Xander took it. "Well, looks like first thing you do is so to- holy crap, you're in pre-calculus already?!" He said. Then he shook his head. "Anyways, you go to room 544 first thing in the morning all year round. Second you have Enriched Brit Lit in room 311 all year round. Third you go to Animal Behavior in room 420, but that's only the first half of the year; after Christmas vacation you go to room room 423 for genetics... wow, you've got all the sciences except AP!"

"Yeah, I applied for a lot of the harder courses." Sky blushed.

"Wow." Xander said.

Ooc: What language would Sky take? And what besides science?

Ooc: I dunno. xD French and, uh, well, she should probably take Phys Ed or something, I really don't know which are half and which are full year. :P

"I'm a little nervous, do you think they'll really be that difficult?" Sky asked.

"There'll be lots of homework. But, saince I've never been to high school, you'll have to ask my mom about difficulty." Xander said.

ooc: Half credits? There are a lot. In fact, i'll state all the full credits so that you know what ISN'T half. XD L.A.'s 9-12 (enriched included), College Prep l.a., Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Physical Science, Band, any foreign language, World History, American History, Principle sof Democracy, ... that's all I can think of. Assume anything not listed here is a single semester course. This includes Zoology, genetics, anima behavior, creative writing... etc.
