"We both need help... I can help you, but I just can't stand the thought of either of you supporting my brothers' needs... They both work, so it wouldn't be much, but still..." Keiko sighed. "Fine... but I still can't promise I won't start feeling as if I have to finance them."

[Miranda_]

"I don't expect you to. That's what you do for family."

"Good. Now that we have that done with, I have an idea on where to find my younger brothers. Downtown in the alleyway between a bar and small coffee shop. That's where, when they were younger and were going to school, I would meet up with them after 'work' and we'd walk back to the apartment. This is when I had three brothers..."

[Miranda_]

"Shall we go there, then? We've got time to kill between now and sunset."

Keiko nodded, "Let's hurry, too. Shaq starts work at around noon and Cameron around 2pm."

[Miranda_]

"We can go now then. Maybe get something to eat there, too."

Tina knew Keiko didn't want 'charity', but she felt Remy was right on the 'team' thing. they had to stick together now, anyways, in both their more mundane, human lives, and more.

Keiko nodded to Remy and started walking out the door. She hadn't yet taken her boots off from when she had gotten back a few minutes ago, but her leather boots were never really dirty anyway. She usually kept to the side walk and tried not to step in anything disgusting.

[Miranda_]

Remy quickly put his boots on and followed her, lighting a cigarette as he did so.

Keiko caught a glimpse of the cigarette and immediantly asked, "Have one to spare for me? I am your..." She didn't really know what to call her relationship with Remy yet and stuck with the word, "...friend."
