"What would you like me to do first?" Maddy asked. She had a thick Spanish accent. She did not know the English word 'sir', and didn't know if he'd accept 'senor' as a substitute, so she tried leaving it out, hoping that he wouldn't take her lack of using a title the wrong way.

[Miranda_]

"Well, there's a lot of laundry to be done; Tina will assist you in letting you know what she wants you to do first," said Shaun. "She's in the utility room at the moment; I'll show you where it is."

Maddy nodded. "Who Tina? Your wife?" She bit her lip when she realized she forgot a verb; would the boss judge her? Call her stupid?

[Miranda_]

Shaun didn't comment at all. He could remember all too clearly how Lindsey had treated him, and he wasn't about to do the same to someone else. "My fiance. We're still planning when to have the wedding. Come on, I'll show you to the utility room now."

Of course, Maddy didn't know about that at all. "Si, Senor." she said, nodding and following him.

[Miranda_]

Shaun took Maddy to the utility room and showed her in. He said to Tina, "This is the maid, Maddy. She's come to take a load off your shoulders."

Tina smiled. "Hi. I'm Tina, Shaun's fiancee."

Maddy nodded and smiled, though it was a nervous smiled. "Pleased to meet you. Where is the laundry that needs be done?" Dang. She messed up again.

"Right to business. I like that." Tina said. "Follow me."

Maddy followed Tina downstairs.

Shaun decided to leave Tina to it. XD

XD Tina showed Maddy how to poerate the machines, where she wanted the clothes to go, and then basically showed her the other requirements, etc, etc.

[Miranda_]

Shaun went to make sure that everyone living in the house knew the drill; ie not to do anything to freak Maddy out while she was working.
