The meds work by blocking out these receptor thingies in the brain instead of curing the problem; as a healer, I can fix the chemical inbalance that actually causes depression." Svana said. She'd been doing a lot of medical-type research because she wanted to understand some of what she did. "The eye thing is a lot trickier; if your powers are too resistant, I won't fight it, and it'll fail. Not to mention it'll hurt; I might even just put you out for it."

"Do what you want; anything's got to be better than this." Horus didn't mention the fact he wasn't eating, mainly cuz he didn't see it as a problem.

Aphrodite had told Svana that part. Svana decided to try the chemical inbalance thing first. She planced her left hand on Horus' forehead, then concentrated on fixing the problem... but not all of it; it would have to be done in stages. But, after she finished this session, he should feel significantly better.

Horus did, altho he didn't smile; he felt as tho he'd forgotten how to.

"Any better?" Svana asked.

"Yeah, a little bit."

"Good. I can do the eye thing, too, if you want." Svana said.

"I guess, if you're sure it won't take away my power."

[spirit_queen]

Svana nodded. "Hold on one minute!" she then dashed out of the room, down the stairs, out the house... and then came back with something in her hand.

"Svana, what is that?" Aphrodite asked.

Svana opened her hand,m revealing a little blue gumball. XD "I can't make something outta nothing, you know."
