"Please don't. I can't bear to think of you putting yourself in danger like that. You could even meet someone like my dad, who'd kill you without a second thought."

"I'm not going to lie, Remy... I can't promise that it won't happen... I can't promise I won't feel bad about having Tina pay for my brothers staying here and then insist on paying her back the money somehow... It's not that dangerous... It's not like I'm that much of a criminal..."

"I'll find a way to pay for some things. I can try and get into Dad's bank account; he won't be able to touch it while on the run. His PIN number's bound to be around here somewhere."

At that point, tina came down the stairs into the living room. she sighed. "I'm ashamed to admit i overheard the whole thing." she said, being dead honest. "Keiko, I want to help." she said. She knew Keiko probably felt tina was doing enough, but Tina felt good when she helped others, and it hurt her when others were in pain, physical or otherwise.

Keiko sighed, "Your pity isn't helping me feel any better. I don't want my brothers to be of any financial trouble to either of you or your families or anything... I want to look after them. I don't want them to think I'm a jobless loser who has her friends pay for everything..." She said as she sat back down on the couch.

Tina shook her head. "It's not that.. it's just... it hurts me to see others hurt. i feel like i HAVE to help." she sighed. "And we might be able to find you a job and all, just let me help you this one time."

"You are both making me feel a little... uncomfortable. You're making it sound like I need your help. I don't. I could make money my own way. I can't think of it as teamwork because it really is more like charity... Something I have lived without my entire life and I'm not going to start now. I can support my brothers however I want."

Remy sighed. "I know you can, but I just want you here. I doubt I could really stand to be here by myself at the moment. It's me who needs help right now, not you, so I don't know why you'd think that."
