"Okay." Cleo nodded.

"Oh. Right. Acting." Isis muttered. She finally got to the point and asked, "What did you say to Cleo before she and I went to the salon? She didn't want to dye her hair, and she said you told her she didn't have to do anything she didn't want to."

"Yay!" Svana said. "So.... what to start with...?"

"I told her exactly that." Osiris said. "I just said that it's her body, and that if she wanted to change or not change something on it then she had that right and no one could make her do sometihng she didn't want to." Osiris said, looking a bit annoyed with his wife.

Cleo just shrugged.

"She'd look beautiful with darker hair. Yes, it's her body, but I'm her mother, and I should decide what's best for her." Isis folded her arms.

"Isis, if she wants red hair, then she should be allowed to have it. All the other kids around here have that right, and i tihnk our daughter should have it, too." Osiris said.

"Well, let's start out simple! I'll teach you how to ride a bike!" Svana said.

"It's the same colour as Set's! One of the reasons I had her aged was so that it could be dyed safely."


"Um, sure." Cleo said with a small grin.

"So? She's not Set, dear; she's Cleo. When I look at her, I see only Cleo, not my brother." Osiris said.

"It's fun. I think skateboarding is a little more fun, but you're prone to more bruses and scratches, and I don't think your mom would be too hapy if I let you get all scratched up." Svana said.

"She should have darker hair, like us. I don't want people to make fun of her for her hair colour." Isis said. "School starts real soon for them now. I'm a little worried about her being bullied, that's all."


"Alright." Cleo said, a little scared of the idea that she could be getting any scraps or bruises at all.

"Oh, don't worry; if you fall, I can heal you, I'd just like to avoid having you fall in the first place." Svana said.

"Isis, there are kids who go to school with neon hair; Cleo will hardly stand out." Osiris said. "And, if she changes her mind about her hair, then you can still dye it; I just want it to be her decision."

Cleo nodded, "Yeah. I don't think I'd like scratching myself up, and my mommy would want me to be careful."

"I just don't like her red hair, okay? Simple as that." Isis admitted.

"I thought so. Well, bike-riding isn't that dangerous, so you should be all good." Svana said.

"Isis, I think it's about time we accepted our children for their decisions and flaws." Osiris said. "I mean, our son thinks we replaced him, for cripe's sake."

Speaking of 'their son', Aphrodite excused herself to go and check on Horus.
