Tina was a little confused when she awoke upon Remy's bed, and struggled to remember why she would be in it. Eventually, she decided it would be best if she tried to remember while she was brushing her teeth, and went to the bathroom.

Remy was almost as embarrassed as Keiko; altho, he did like what he saw.

It's not that Keiko didn't. She had found herself with many guys after long nights of drinking but she still just thought Remy as a friend... a really close friend... with benefits. She stood up, blushing, then rushed up the stairs.

[Miranda_]

Remy hesitated at following her; he too was in a state of undress and chose to rectify that instead of following Keiko at once, in case she thought he was bothering her.

Keiko went into Remy's room and started looking through the closet. Soon, she was fully dressed and slightly less uncomfortable at the moment. She wanted to have a shower, but noticed that the bathroom was occupied and decided to go back down the stairs and into the living room.

Remy went to the downstairs loo to wash his face and hands. He'd have preferred a shower, but the bathroom was already occupied by Tina. Still, there'd be time enough to shower before the plans that would be set in motion tonight.

Keiko turned on the TV before remembering she still had yet to help her brothers out of that hell hole. They probably couldn't pay rent alone. She put on her boots and rushed out the door, the wind creating a slight slamming noise, though she had just gently shut it.

Remy wandered into the living room, just as Keiko left. He stared unseeingly at the TV, wishing he could pull together the courage to tell Keiko how he felt about her. But he was afraid of her rejection; after all, what would a beautiful girl like that see in a guy like him? She could have her pick of men, after all.

Keiko hurried, running extremely fast considering she was in high heeled boots. It was something she had to pick up from her days selling herself, in case a cop was chasing her - or worse, a pimp. She soon arrived at her small appartment, rushing up the stairs as the landlord yelled for her to stop. She opened the door to her old appartment to find a small asian family. A family with a mother, a father, and a small little girl. She half-smiled as she apologised, "I'm so sorry... I... My brothers were living here not long ago... I'm trying to find them... I have a better home now... Well, it's not really my home and it's not perfect but it's better..." She explained.

"That's fine, dear... we just got this place a few days ago. Hiroshu, my husband, is just starting to build in the bathroom and maybe a small bedroom or two. We're new to the country and where we come from the money is much less in terms of value..." The mother said, smiling as she talked.

"I... I'll just leave..." Keiko said, unable to say much else. She wasn't really good at talking to families, and ran out of the whole appartment and started to walk back, worried about where her brothers were.

As Remy watched the TV, a news report came on. He concentrated more on the TV after realising that it was about his mother.

"The body that was found in the field nearby was identified today as Jessica Malone," the news reporter said. "Jessica's jaws and teeth were photographed and sent out to dentists, and eventually her own dentist came forward to give an identification. Jessica Malone was said to have run away nearly 12 years ago, leaving her husband and son, but now the police have stated that she was in fact the victim of murder. The bones in her throat were crushed, and she is thought to have been strangled by her husband, who is still at large. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Cole Malone, please ring the following number."

A phone number flashed up on the screen, followed by a profile and full face shot of Remy's father. Remy watched without outwardly betraying any emotion, however inside, he was in turmoil. Tho he was relieved to have finally found out the truth about his mother's departure, it had brought him no peace.
