"No," Set replied, shaking slightly. "I'm a deity, too. But not Greek like Aphrodite; Egyptian."

[spirit_queen]

"Why? Why are you telling me this?" Josh asked.

"Set felt bad for hiding this secret from you; he trusts you, Joshy." Aphrodite said. she'd stopped glowing now.

Josh took a deep breath. "Am I still asleep?" josh asked, though he already knew the answer.

[Miranda_]

"No. I don't know what I can do to convince you; my powers are mostly distructive... tho I guess I could make a mirage."

[spirit_queen]

Aphrodite cleared her throat. "What about your, er, 'dog' form?"

"Dog form?" O_o

[Miranda_]

"I guess so, but it's not really like a dog around the head. I don't want to freak Josh out."

[spirit_queen]

Josh bit his lip. "I may regret saying this, but now I'm curious, Set."

[Miranda_]

Set still wasn't sure, but he changed into his animal form. His ears were down and his tail was between his legs; he was afraid of what Josh would say.

[spirit_queen]

Josh stared, unsure of what to say. "... are you sure he's a member of the dog family?" He got out of the bed, failing to realize he was only in his boxers. "Set, why's your tail all down like that? You don't have to be afraid of me." He reached out slowly and then scratched behind Set's ears.

[Miranda_]

Set couldn't speak in his animal form, but he showed his relief by raising his head and tail.

Joah smiled. "Aww, Set, your tail is wagging. That's kinda cute."
