Set needed to talk to Aphrodite about it first, of course. Among other things.

Aphrodite had gone back downstairs to fix something.

[Miranda_]

"I need to go and talk to Aphrodite for a minute."

[spirit_queen]

Osiris nodded. When Set left he went back to reading to Cleo.

Aphrodite was cursing under her breath because she'd dropped the scr*wdriver on her big toe. XD

[Miranda_]

"Is this a bad time?" said Set, going up to her. "I need to ask you something."

[spirit_queen]

"No, no; I could use a break." Aphrodite said. She hopped to the couch and flopped down onto it. "Sit." she said, patting the spot beside her.

[Miranda_]

He sat down besides her. "It's about Josh," Set said, nervously twisting his hands in his lap. "I really like him, and I want to tell him the truth... he wants to come here and meet Freya, but I want to tell him first. But I don't know how to, and anyway, if he knows what I really am, he might just hate me on principle cuz of it."

[spirit_queen]

"He'll be sworn to secrecy, you know." Aphrodite said. "And, if you break up, Tina will have to erase all memories of his knowing so that he can't tell anyone." she hated saying that, but it was the truth; they couldn't let him keep the knowledge if he dissociated himself from them. "Are you prepared to face all of that?"

[Miranda_]

Set nodded. "I don't want to lie to him; he deserves the truth."

[spirit_queen]

"Okay. Isn't he taking today off? You can go talk to him now if you'd like." Aphrodite said.
