She put her arm around him. "Oh, well; I'll have to get lucky eventually, right? I mean, I literally have forever."

"I hope that I have a long time, if not forever, with Josh. I don't really know what I'd do after that. Unless after I tell Josh everything, I ask him if he wants to be an immortal and he agrees." Set paused, then said, "I still want a child, too. I always have done, but it wasn't possible before so I just tried to forget about it."

"Awww!" Aphrodite said. "Well, before you try to get yourself a kid, you better make sure you're either gonna stay with Joshy or you get yourself some sort of job; I know form experience that they suck up time and money like a black hole sucks up stars, and Ezhno isn't even very demanding."

[Miranda_]

"I don't even know what I can do for a job, but I do want Josh to stay with me."

"That's so sweet! And you'll start discovering what you like as you get familiar with the culture and stuff." Aphrodite said.

[Miranda_]

"That'll take forever tho. This place is just so different from what I'm used to. It's not all bad, tho; people are more accepting of g@y relationships now."

"Much, though g@y marriage isn't yet so widely accepted. In this country, at least." Aphrodite said.

[Miranda_]

"It's still a better attitude. People aren't singling me out as a freak any more. Tho it was just me who was singled out, even tho I did sleep around, no-one I slept with was ever attacked, just me."

"Well, families are like that." Aphrodite said.

"Isis would kill you for even suggesting that I was related to her and her precious family."
