"I hope so," said Set. He also needed to talk to Aphrodite alone about certain things.

Josh coughed. "I'll ah... go set up the table for dinner, then." He went into the kitchen.

[Miranda_]

Set leaned towards Aphrodite. "I'll have to tell him sometime about being a deity," he said. "And you, too. It wouldn't be fair, otherwise, and in any case, if we're going to have a relationship, he'd find out sooner or later."

[spirit_queen]

She nodded. "Eventually, yes. But only when you're really, REALLY serious about him; we can't just have anybody knowing."

[Miranda_]

"I know. I think I am now, but I'll wait a bit longer. Cuz eventually, he's going to meet Osiris and Isis, and I won't be able to explain them away."

[spirit_queen]

She sighed. "That's true enugh. Especially if they bring up Horus..."

[Miranda_]

"I know. I don't want Josh to think I'm some kind of sicko, or that my entire family is depraved."

[spirit_queen]

"I could udnerstand that." She said. "Well, just avoid your family and that household for now. That way, you'll avoid having to tel him until you're ready."

[Miranda_]

"I can't avoid them forever, tho."

"Well, no." She said. "But you don't need forever."
