"They should know; sending me there just taught me new skills." After a few minutes, Remy got the door open. He stood to the side so that Keiko could enter first.

Keiko entered and looked around. She looked like a kid in a candy store. "Holy sh*t... This place is so..." She couldn't think of one word to discribe it. She knew it wasn't perfect, but it was the closest she'd ever seen.
Tina jumped when she thought she heard the front door open. Quit being delusional! She chastised herself. But her heartrate increased, and her breathing was shaky. Something was terribly wrong, she could feel it.
Remy left the door ajar and went to stand next to Keiko. "This place... it's just... well, it's clean. And there's no mess anywhere. Bet she doesn't appreciate how lucky she is."

Tina thought she heard voices this time. Then she heard them again. She swallowed, then, with a shaking hand, grabed the sword. She unwrapped it, then silently descended the stairs, knowing that if you stayed to the left, the old things wouldn't creak.
In the living room, she saw two strangers, the silhouette of a man and a woman.
Remy slipped a few choice items into his pockets. He also didn't notice Tina; for one thing, he didn't think anyone would be up. For another, she wasn't the kind of girl he really noticed.

Keiko picked up everything, and anything, near expensive that she could fit in her purse. She would sell them later for bar, cigarette, and rent money.
