When Xander finished, he asked "So? What do you think?"

[Miranda_]

"I liked it, a lot," said Set. "Can you play anything else, maybe something like that? I don't really know much about music. I never listened to it before."

[spirit_queen]

"Really?" Xander said. "I'd find life dull without my music." He paused. "I tihnk I know one other similar song, but I don't have it memorized."

[Miranda_]

"I didn't live with the other deities after everything that happened; I lived in the desert. So I didn't listen to music."

[spirit_queen]

"I don't think I'd have endured that for long; mom thinks that besides shielding, music is my talent." Xander said. "Would you like to play it a little? I could show you some of the basic chords."

[Miranda_]

"I wouldn't know how. And anyway, I loved the desert, so it wasn't a punishment as such. I miss it now, and not just cuz I don't have powers cuz of missing the connection."

[spirit_queen]

"I wouldn't mind the desert, so long as I knew I had water and shelter. It's the music I'd miss." Xander said.

[Miranda_]

Set replied, "What you don't have, you don't miss. There's oasises in the desert, and I had a house there. I was only alone right at the end; I was fine before."

[spirit_queen]

Xander nodded. "I guess so." He sighed.
