"Osiris, Egyptian lord of the afterlife." Osiris said. "what's causing you to drink so much, anyways?"

"My boyfriend." Freya took a sip and sighed, "We had a fight last night. You probably heard it - I threw some things at him and I was yelling so loud my throat hurts. He blames everything on me, and some of the things he calls me and says about me really hurt. I know I'm not perfect, but he brought up Od leaving me, and then he claimed that his ex-mistress is much better in bed than I am. He called me a cow, too. Can you believe that? Anyway, I tried to break up with him, but whenever I try to do that, he tells me that he'll never let me see our daughters and he'll have full custody. Then, when I told him that I didn't care and that I was leaving, the shadows tried taking him over. Now I'm stuck in a bit of a nutshell. I don't want to leave him until the shadows are gone, and he claims that he's willing to change now. I don't know if I believe him. He never does any changing, I'm always the one trying to please him. It's never the other way around. I have to decide whether to leave him, or stay. I love him so much, but our relationship isn't very healthy." She paused, "Sorry for dumping that all on you. It's not important, anyway."

Osiris blinked. "Um, soudns like you two need some 'me' time. Not breaking up, jsut some time to collect yourselves."

Freya laughed at that, "Like taking a break? Tried that. Loki considered it breaking up, started fooling around with Frigg - another Norse goddess - to get me jealous, and ended up getting her pregnant. I cried almost every day during that time. I stayed in my room, didn't eat much, and just cried. It didn't work."

"No, not even a week. Just take a day and go out. Go to the spa with some friends, or go shopping. He can take his own day off, do whatever it is he likes ot do. I think someone mentioned he likes cars." Osris said. "not a 'break' form dating, just a 'me-time' day. You're still dating, you're just having a 'girl's night', if you even want to bring a friend, that is."

Anubis had a day off work that day; he was just getting up. He hadn't heard much of what had gone on the previous night, due to having gone out with Hel.

"I don't know, Osiris." Freya said with a sigh, "I don't have a lot of friends nowadays. Most of the other adult women in this house are either related to Loki and take his side, like Hel, or they just take Loki's side over mine anyway. I don't think many people like me here. I probably wouldn't like me, either. I don't actually. My self-esteem is in the toilet due to everything Loki calls me. The only people that don't hate me are my two daughters. And that's because they have to love me."

"You're sure nobody likes you?" osiris said. "Maybe they don't hate you, maybe they're fed up with the arguiing between you and Loki." Osiris sighed. "Speaking of arguing, there's sometihng i have to go take care of. Will you excuse me?" Osiris said. then he went outside ot find Set.

Set had by now come back from the stream. He hadn't liked to use the horse trough to wash in; after all, it was Sleipnir's water supply. The horse fed himself from the feed shed; unlike a normal horse, he was able to do this. Set cautiously took a drink from the trough, keeping an eye on Sleipnir.
