Xander went outside. He used his shielding power like an umbrella and headed for the stables. When he found Set cowering in a corner, he said "Oh, god, what'd they do to you?"

"Good afternoon to you." Mrs. McGregor said.

[Miranda_]

"It doesn't matter," said Set, tiredly. "They've gone now; there's no point in talking about it."

Loki muttered something in answer.

"Please, take a seat." She said.

"Oh, jeez." Xander said. "Would you like me to go get you a blanket, or something?"

Freya pulled Loki down to sit beside her on the leather couch. xD "Good afternoon to you too, Mrs. McGregor. Sorry about Loki - he doesn't really want to be here."

[Miranda_]

"If you don't mind. I'm cold." Set shivered some more; after all, he'd been soaked to the skin in the rain, and it wasn't warm in the stable. "Maybe I should also have a paper bag to put over my head, so I don't offend anyone who accidentally looks at me."

Loki thought sourly that that was an understatement. XD

"Sure. Um... I know a quick spell for drying, but I've never tried it before." Xander said.

"Well, today's session won't take long, I promise." She said.

Freya nodded, "See Loki? We'll be home before you know it, sweetie pie." Yes, Freya just called Loki sweetie pie. xD

[Miranda_]

"I guess you might as well try it; it doesn't really matter if it doesn't work. I suppose I'll be fine if I have a blanket."

"So start it, then it'll take even less time."

[TheHayleyDoll]

"Why are you so crabby, darling? It'll be nice to talk for a while. What's the rush, baby?" Freya asked, rubbing his shoulder.

"I'm sure it'll work, but I don't want it to work too good; that could give you dehydration." Xander said. But he tried the spell. He barely put enough power into it, for fear of harming Set, and so it only mostly dried Set off; he was still midly damp. But st least the dampness was now a warm damp from the spell.
