They were lucky Isis had stayed back at the house - she didn't like Set at all, and would probably go a bit crazy if she saw him. xD

Before Osiris could say anything else -and you can bet he was about to- Tina said "Why don't we go solve this inside? It's late, and it's supposed to rain tonight. I, personally, don't intend to stand out here in the dark with the mosquitos if all we're going to do is shout at each other.

Osiris scowled, but finally said. "Fine. He can come... for now."

[Miranda_]

Set looked nervous, but followed the others back to the house. Before he could enter, tho, Anubis stood in the doorway. "He doesn't come in here," Anubis said. "I don't care how he got here, or what he came here for, but he doesn't enter this house. If he does, then I put the little death on him and throw him out."

"Then can he at least stand under the porch? It's going to rain, and I don't intend to stand out here and clear things out in the rain." Tina said.

[Miranda_]

"That I'll allow, for as long as it takes to talk it out. Tho why you want to waste time talking to him, I don't know." Anubis gave Set a faintly contemptous look.

Tina sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Oh, what a mess." She mumbled.

At that moment, the clouds overhead decided to let loose, and torrents of rain came down. One couldn't even see the stable where Sleipnir was through the rain.

[Miranda_]

"Maybe you need to find out just what he's doing here," said Anubis. "When Mother finds out, he'll wish he'd never come here."

Xander cleared his throat. "The shadows summoned him and tried to get him to kill Osiris, but he said no."

Tina turned to Xander. "They possesed you?"

"Yeah; I think because I used to have a shadow, I was more... ah... suceptible to them, or something. They made me steal a cow and sacrifice it, and then Set came through. The shadows asked him if he'd kill Osiris. He refused."

Tina turned to Set. "What exactly did you say?"

[Miranda_]

Set replied, "I said there wasn't any point in killing Osiris, cuz I don't have any powers here and Isis would just put him back together like last time. Then that boy just fell to the ground and said the shadows had left."

Xander huffed at being called a 'boy'. XD

Tina just nodded. To Set she said "You were their last attempt to save their own skins. I must say, I'm glad it failed; the shadows are bad news."
