Keiko sat at a nearby bar, playing with the empty glass in her hand, the ice inside making a 'clinging' sound as it hit the edges of the glass. The bar was small, and there was much smoke in the air. People loudly talking about how their day went as men walking by hit on her. This was just a typical Saturday for Keiko. She looked at the bartender and handed him the empty glass. With a flip of her red hair, and a wiggle of her chest, he went and got her another drink.

Morgana walked down main street, wondering what she should do next. She didn't feel like shopping anymore and the library was closed. Her parents were fighting again, so that was the last place she wanted to be. She couldn't wait to go off to college in New York, miles away from her small town.

By the time the credits came, Tina's mom was fast asleep. Then, a loud crack of thunder ensued, followed by the loss of electricity. But, funny enough, her mom did not awaken. Tina looked to the basement door. Now's my chance! She ran into the kitchen ,grabbing her mom's spare keyring from under the fridge (which her mom din't know she knew it was there), and head into the basement with a flashlight.
It was dark, damp, and cobwebs were everywhere. Tina was glad she was not afraid of the little beasts, or this would be her personal hell. She continued down the half rotten stairs, treading lightly. In ths basement, there were many boxes filled with odd trinkets her mother had collected over the years. The newer stuff was towards the front. Tina skipped that stuff, heading straight for the back. There, an odd, long box caught her eye. She lifted it. "God, this is heavy!" She exclaimed, heaving it onto the table with one missing leg, now supported by other boxes. Tina tried a million keys to try to unlock the case, but none of them fit. She searched the area where she found the box, then found and ol, rusty key hidden inside a cobweb and simply covered in dust. This had to be it, the key to the mystery box. ![]() |

Keiko sighed and took a large sip of her drink. She was not sure what exactly it was, the bartender made it mostly a surprise, but it was too late for her to care much, anyway. She would have anything. Keiko looked out the cracked window. It was fogged from the rain, but she knew it was storming. She could hear the crackles of the thunder and the flashes of the lightning. She chugged down the rest of her drink and stood up. She had to catch the next bus to get home. She wasn't walking in this.
She stood and walked towards the barred door, men watching her behind as she strode. Keiko oepned the door and walked out onto the puddle filled streets. [Visit my dA]

Remy looked up as a girl walked past the bus shelter where he sat. He knew her by sight, but not very well. After all, she was streets away from him; destined for college and great things. Where he was headed, he didn't know, but guessed it to be either hell or jail. Remy never let such things bother him usually, but there was something about this night. He took another drag on his cigarette to dispell the feeling.

I noticed a book shop and smiled. If there was one thing that could take my mind off everything that was bothering, it was a good book. I walked in and a bell jingled. I started to look at all the different sections like fanasty, new age, fiction, teen fiction, military. I walked straight over to the military section and started to look at the book titles.

Keiko had gotten to the bus stop and sat down beside the boy, looking out at the sky, storm clouds huddled everywhere, blocking out any sign of stars. She turned to the person beside her after smelling cigarette smoke. "Aren't you a little too young to be smoking?" She raised a brow. She hoped this kid didn't know she was known for her drinking, even though she herself was underage.

Ooc: I thought this was a third person RP; could it be kept to just third person only? Of course, that's entirely up to spirit queen; just making the suggestion.
Remy looked at his watch; it was fairly late at night. But what was the point of going home if there was nothing to go home for? His life was samey and sometimes dull; it was no wonder he was forced to make his own excitement, sometimes in ways that most ppl would disapprove of. When the girl sat down next to him and asked him the smoking question, he looked at her in a faintly contemptous manner. "What's it to you? I do what I like, when I like." ![]() |

Keiko shrugged. "I feel the same way." She looked away from the boy. She felt as though she knew this boy. Something flashed through her mind, but in a second, it was gone. She looked up at the sky once again. "Waiting for the bus?" She asked, not bothering to look at him. Keiko guessed he would figure out it was directed at him, since no one else was there.
