Loki was on his guard waiting for the shadows to try and possess him, or even to attack Rika; it never occurred to him that Xander was in any danger.

Of course, there was one way that the shadows could stop Osiris... it would however involve raising another Egyptian deity.

Shaun was just glad that the question of why they had raised Osiris rather than Odin hadn't been raised. XD

XD Tina figured that if Frigg had treated Shaun badly, then Odin would be twice as bad as her. That, and how were they to explain Dustin and Tanith?

The shadows already had a plan for that.

Shaun didn't want to even try to explain that. XD Plus, Odin would insist on doing things his way, and wouldn't listen to anyone's advice. He'd more than likely treat Tina like a stupid woman, too. O.o

A devilishly evil plan, most likely.

Tina wouldn't stand for that. XD She stood for women's rights before mortal women had really tried it themselves.

Of course; it wouldn't be a plan devised by the shadows if it wasn't evil. XD

Which was why it had been a better idea to raise Osiris. Not to mention the fact that it also made Isis happy, and Isis being such a sweet, gentle goddess, she deserved to have her husband back.

Yup. XD Osiris was a winning choice.

The sun had set, and it was getting dark.

Then, the shadows that had earlier possesed Xander took control, and he found himself wandering out of the house. Eventually, he stole a cow form a farm nearby, and dragged it up to a hill he'd never been on before, but he was able to figure out that this was where Osiris had appeared.

He tried to fight back, but failed; there were too many of them, and he had too little experience in resistence. Eventually, the shadows had made the sacrifice, and the shadows summoned another Egyptian god.
