"Please, just let me sleep. I've had just about enough of this for tonight." She kissed his cheek and went downstairs to sleep on the couch. She really wasn't in the mood to 'talk' with Loki anymore.

[Miranda_]

Loki was just completely frustrated and fed up with Freya's constant need to play the victim. Discussions with her always ended up as arguments cuz of her inability to actually listen to him and understand what he wanted. He felt that she always just copy pasted what she thought he was saying and thinking, and didn't bother to see if she was right, she just assumed she was.

Freya was fed up with Loki's attitude in much the same way. It was very difficult for her to understand why he seemed to care so little. Freya was trying as hard as she could to listen, but she didn't feel like he was listening to her, which made things difficult. She slept on the couch that night, and was very thankful that Shaun was rich enough to buy a comfortable couch, because it seemed like she'd be sleeping there for a couple of days unless Loki apologised.

Loki had no intention of apologising, as he didn't think he'd done anything wrong and wasn't about to say sorry for what he basically saw as Freya's imaginary stories.

And Freya wasn't apologising for anything either, since she didn't think she did anything wrong.

*the next day*

[Miranda_]

Loki told Fenrir about not killing Mina, no matter what. But he could knock her out. "And if she does attack you, you tell me and I'll deal with her; yeah, guess I'll have to give her parents a chance first to do something, but if she doesn't listen to that, then it's my job to do something." Fenrir nodded.

Tanith passed by her dad and Fenrir, and asked, "Are you talking about that little girl's safety? We aren't just going to have to sit back and let her attack us, do we?"

[Miranda_]

"Nope. Just knock her senseless, then come to me. I'll tell her parents and give them the first chance to deal with her. If she does it again tho, knock her out and tell me again. Then I deal with her, and if they don't like that, then tough. No-one messes with my kids."

"Okay, dad. I'll try that." Tanith nodded. "Can't make any promises, tho. If she attacks me by surprise, I might accidentally burn her."

[Miranda_]

"Just try not to kill her. I don't particularly want to have to find somewhere in the crap part of town to live, thanks very much."
