She got off at the third stop and walked to Barnes and Nobles. She really needed a car but didn't want to use her parents. She walked in and started to look for her books.

Ooc: *sighs* She said she'd send me a tektek when she got back... what is a tektek? GAH! I feel like a newb for asking, but I need to know...


Eventually, Tina broke the silence. "Mom, what's happening to me?" Tina asked, looking into her mother's green eyes.

"Tina, what-?" Her mom began, her daughter's expression nearly breaking her.

"I speak in ancient languages, sing songs I've never heard before, and can make a sword glow in the dark like a toy. What's happening to me?" Tina was desperate, she was afraid of the changes she felt occuring inside.

"I- Honey, I don't know." She sighed. "I wishI knew, but this is more like something out of those novels you like to read than anything I ever experienced."

"So..." Jakob started, but saw that he was lost for words.

After finding her books, Morgana walked over to the Mythology(sp? And I can normally spell that.) section and started to look at the books for ancient swords or anything along those lines. She couldn't find anything and it ticked her off.

Bic: Keiko continued to smoke, looking into the distance.

Jakob decided to pull another cigarette out. He tried to use the lighter, but it had died. "Can you light this?" he asked the girl.

She started over to the fiction, new age, and sci-fi trying to find anything. She didn't. She nearly screamed in frustration. She asked a lady for help and she looked at her as if she was crazy. She down in one of the comfty chairs, a frapp in one hand.

Ooc: That's right.

"Yeah, 10's fine for me. Not doing anything now after all. Just killing time." Remy scattered ash from his cigarette on to the floor.

Tina gulped. She closed her eyes, and, suddenly, she knew. "Mom."

"What?" Her mom asked, concerned. When Tina looked up, her eyes were filled with a new, wiser light.

"I know now; I'm Athena." Tina's looke did not waver, her composition did now falter.

"Tina, I'm not following. You mean the Greek goddess of wisdom and war?" Her daughter only gave a short, slow nod. "So I was right? But then what's that sword?" Tina shook her head, as if confused. She would not answer any more questions, despite her mother's prying.
