Loki got in a few minutes later. It had been a busy shift and he was tired.

Freya went up and hugged him. "Loki, I have a surprise for you!"

[Miranda_]

"Depends on what kind of surprise it is. You're not pregnant, are you?"

[TheHayleyDoll]

Freya paused, "Why? Do you not want me to be pregnant?" She pulled away from him.

[Miranda_]

"Not at the moment. Even you can see it's not a good time."

[TheHayleyDoll]

"What if I said that I was?" Freya folded her arms. "Which reminds me, I should probably tell you that I've stopped taking my birth control pills. I figure that, since we're in a stable relationship, it shouldn't matter."

[Miranda_]

"That doesn't mean that you have a right to have hundreds of babies. What if I don't want any?"

[TheHayleyDoll]

"I'm not planing on having hundreds. I'm not dumb. How about we change the subject?" Freya took a deep breath and picked up the case with her ring in it and handed it to Loki, then picked up Loki's. "I bought us rings. That was the surprise. You can put mine on my finger, and I'll put yours on your finger. ^^"

[Miranda_]

"You're not trying to make us get married, are you? This is just a commitment thing, right? If so, then I'll wear the ring."

[TheHayleyDoll]

"Yes, it's just a commitment thing." She put his ring on his finger and held out her ring finger for him to slip hers on. "Why are you so against getting married to me, though? My human form's always dreamt about having a nice wedding with her dream guy, and you're basically taking that from me."
