Tina shoved her bassoon case back in its place, heading to the computer. It was slow to load, but the only thing they got. She logged into gaiaonline, then head for her roleplaying guild, checking all her roleplays and replying.      |

Tina stayed on unti the internet decided to fail on her, then she grabbed one of her summer reading novels. She hated this one, The Great Gasby, as it was incredibly boring. But she tread on, taking the necessary notes on the subjects she would need to write a paper on. |

Tina eventually reached the next chapter, so she laid the book down. She thought about how lucky she was compared to some; a warm home, a loving mom, and the possibility of a good college education. She turned her head to the computer. Still, some thing s arond here could use and update... not to mention the seventies wallpaper! |

Tina's mom called, saying it was time for lunch. They had some KFC chicken, with mashed potatoes on the side. They both ate in silence, the mood awkward. |
