"Oh, I get it." Tina said. She stood up and went over to Shaun. "You remember how the Shadows attacked me when I was having the twins, and how I couldn't have kids? well, it turns out that it only affected my immortal form; my human form still could. And so when I made that spell to combine the two into one, I became fertile again, in a way." She sucked in a deep breath. "Shaun, I'm pregnant, but my body is reacting very badly to it, due to what the Shadows did to me."

[Miranda_]

"But... what can we do about it? You said you don't want to go into hospital, but you could be really badly hurt otherwise."

[spirit_queen]

Tina pondered the options. "Well, the easiest way out is abortion, but I'd like to avoid that." she said. "We could have Svana help with the symptoms, and maybe, just maybe, I could develop a spell that would speed up my pregnancy; I don't want to spend nine months like this." She said.

"Mommy." Svana said.

"Yes?" Tina said.

"You forgot to mention that my futre baby brother or sister is half human." Svana said.

"Oh, right." Tina said. "Well, Shaun, you got it form her; this child will be born a half-blood because it was my human form that could have kids, and so now I can only make mortal eggs." She shook her head. "Sometimes, I wonder if there will ever be a lull in the drama around here."

[Miranda_]

Shaun gave a sigh. "Which means that the child might have more power than a regular human, but still is mortal. Unless you do the same spell that you plan to do on Jasper, if Lindsey wants it."

[spirit_queen]

"The child may not let me do so immediately." Tina said. "For some reason, half-bloods have a tendency to want to proove themselves."

[Miranda_]

"Well, tough. It'll be for the best; I'm not having the child try and prove themselves only to end up dead."

[spirit_queen]

"I could do it a week or so after birth; but then the child would have to age normally because I don't want to put too many spells on it." Tina said. "Besides, I'm already going to speed up the pegnancy; I refuse to spend nine months feeling so horribly sick or demanding Svana to remedy that every single day."

[Miranda_]

"I don't mean at once; I mean at the age Ezhno was at when you put the growing up spell on him."

[spirit_queen]

"I still can't; we'd have to wait more than just a few months to put a spell on this child." Tina said. "Two years is a good minimum, but that may change depending on how our baby reacts to the immortlity spell, and how badly the Shadows' maddlign affected its chances at a normal developement."

[Miranda_]

"By which time, they could be dead."
