Sky was going to talk to her father today. She made that a promise to herself. Sure she didn't agree with what he was doing, but he was doing it because he wanted her safe. That's all that really mattered, after all.

[Miranda_]

Loki wasn't going to back down on his views, but he was willing to compromise, up to a point.

Freya, by this time, was already gone to work. Sky knocked on Loki's door and waited for an answer.

[Miranda_]

"Come in," Loki said wearily. He didn't know who it could be.

Sky opened the door. "Father, I'm sorry."

[Miranda_]

At first, Loki couldn't believe that Sky was apologising. Then he realised she was serious. "You'd better come in."

Sky shut the door and sat down. "I'm going to be honest. I don't agree with your punishment - actually, I find it downright cruel. However, I know you're only doing this because you believe it is in my best interest and not because you simply hate me."

[Miranda_]

"At least you understand that. As for cruelty, it would never have happened if you and Xander had abided by my rules and not sneaked around behind my back. I never intended for the rule about you not seeing each other to last forever, only til Xander had earned my trust. Instead, he defied me. So he deserved his punishment."

[TheHayleyDoll]

"Dad, I'm not about to fight you on it. Things don't need to be worse. I think it was a terribly crude thing, and you think it was perfectly understandable. I'm okay with a disagreement. Still, I can't help but understand what you want from me. Rika's allowed to do whatever she wants. Tanith will probably be allowed to do what she wants, too. Why can't I? I'm not a two year old."

[Miranda_]

"I don't let Rika do what she wants. You obviously forgot about the trouble she got into over how she was treating Dustin, and the word I had with her on that. Either that, or you're so hung up on acting the victim, that you don't care."
