Hel raised an eyebrow. "She takes after you in certain ways, father; your stubborness, and how you can sometimes be just a bit childlike." She said. "But, yet, keep in mind that she's not your clone, nor her mother's."
"I don't think anything of the sort. I do, however, expect that when I lay down the law, my rule be obeyed. I don't see why I should trust either Sky or Xander, when neither of them bothered to give me any reason to trust them."
"True." Hel said. she paused. "Father, you know what happened when the governemtn banned drinking in the 20's in this country? The people drank more." She said. "Perhaps in being very restricting on these two, you're just making it worse."
"I'm not backing down on this. I manage to control myself; it's hardly asking too much for Xander to do it. I wasn't going to hold the restriction against them dating forever, just for around a week. But Xander couldn't wait that long, and broke my rules, so he had to be punished. I don't give two sh*ts about what anyone else thinks about this; this is how it's going to be and that's an end to it."
