"That's a good idea." she said, she looked out the window. "Anyone mind a little rain? I'm suggesting we go now." She looked back to gauge their reactions.

[Miranda_]

Loki shrugged. "Compared to snake venom dripping on my face, rain's nothing."

[spirit_queen]

Athena nodded and said nothing, as this was true. She waited a minute longer, staring blankly out into the rain, then said; "Then let us go to find Sleipnir."

[Miranda_]

"And the sooner, the better. Come on, Freya." Loki put his jacket on.

Athena did not bother with a jacket, and headed straight for the door.

Freya took her own long, black trench coat and put it over the white dress she was wearing. "I'm ready to follow."

[Miranda_]

They headed towards the fields where Sleipnir roamed during the day, well away from the farmhouse at the other end of town. The rain was still coming down hard, tho not nearly as hard as it had been before. Still it seemed relentless and unlikely to stop anytime soon.

The horse, in his egiht-legged form, trotted up to them eagerly, whinnying once. "Sh*T." Athena said, looking down at the mud they were standing in. "i can't communicate with him without something solid for him to tap on, or the Morse code will be incomprehensible."

[Miranda_]

"There's a path that goes thru the field," said Loki. "It's solid."

"Yeah... let's go there." Freya nodded. "I can't wait to see Frigg and... Heimdall... I NEED to talk to him about this." She held her necklace. "Little b@stard."
