"How else was I supposed to do it? If I'd left it any longer, she could have been dead," said Loki, rolling his eyes in exasperation.

"She'll probably get over it in time, Loki." Tina said. "In a way, i can tell she's grateful to you for her life, but she's also freaked out at the same time. it's complicated." Tina sighed.

Svana had fallen asleep beside Tina, though she didn't look peaceful even in sleep.

Sky sighed, 'Well now that that's over, daddy, why can't I see Xander?"

"Cuz he took advantage of you at a time when you were scared," replied Loki. "I don't want you to end up like me, with loads of kids, at an early age. He should have known better, and so should you; but it's him who's to blame."

"That's hardly fair, Loki." Tina said with a sigh. "How about you let them date, but give them a limit, a boundary, to something? Try to compromise."

"But I love him! If I dressed like Rika and acted like her, you wouldn't care. You let Rika and Dustin do stuff like that all the time and with Xander and I it was simply a one-time precaution!" Sky paused, "Please. At least do what Tina said."

"I tried that first, and see how well it worked. As for you Sky, you're meant to be the clever one; guess it's only my monster kids who actually take after me. You're just your mother all over again."

Tina sighed. "She's more like you than you think, Loki."

[Miranda_]

"So far, she hasn't shown any sign of it; neither has Rika."

[spirit_queen]

"Loki, she's a very intelligent individual, as are you. She gets some stubborness from both you and her mom." Tina said.
