Xander managed a smile. "We have to." He paused. "Though, I must admit, that line made me sound like some lose form a cheesy movie."

[Miranda_]

Loki came into the room. "I thought I told you to leave my daughter alone? I'm sure I didn't imagine it," he said, sarcastically.

Sky turned to her dad. "I came in here. I was just leaving." She said to Xander, "I'll see you at dinner." And then she left the room.

Xander bit his lip and looked away, trying to avoid the urge to roll his eyes; Loki would clobber hom for that if he dared to try.

[Miranda_]

"Remember what I said," Loki said in a hard voice. "Believe me, you don't want to get on my wrong side." He left the room, too.

Xander turned towards the window, then said "What the...?" as he saw something.

Sky sulked in her room. Surely her dad would understand eventually, right?

[Miranda_]

Loki had no intention of giving way on this, at least for the moment.

Xander went to go find Tina.

"Hey, mom." Xander said.

"Yeah?" Tina asked.

"Isn't Svana supposed to have someone with her when she leaves the house?"

"She just left, didn't she?"

Xander nodded. "She headed for the woods out back."

[Miranda_]

Shaun was also in the room, and was horrified to hear this. "What? Does she not understand just how real this danger is? Why else did we make the plan that Loki was to accompany her or Sky if they left the house? I don't want to have to lock her in her room to keep her safe."
