Lindsey walked in, her baby bump already out there. "I'm just glad my Dustin isn't involved in things like this. And Shaun, did you happen to talk to Dustin about using protection with Rika?"

Tina went back to what she was doing on her laptop.

Xander ran off inot the woods, trying to find Svana.

Shaun looked uncomfortable. "I did, yes. He said he would in future."

"Thank you." Lindsey nodded then got something to eat.

[Miranda_]

Shaun had not liked to have to have the talk with Dustin, but he had felt that it was his duty as a father to. And at least Dustin was sensible enough to do as he was told.

Xander returned with Svana.

"Svana." Tina said. She pointed to a chair. "Sit."

"Yes, mama." Svana said. She did as she was told.

Shaun couldn't hide his relief at seeing Svana back safe and sound. He decided cuz of this to leave it to Tina to tell Svana off, tho he certainly backed his fiance.

"Do you know what you did?" Tina asked ina a harsh tone.

Svana bit her lip, looking confused. she shook her head back and forth in a jerky motion.

"You left the house without permission, and without Loki there to keep you safe."

"Oops." Was the only thing Svana could think to say.

"You could have ended up dead!" Shaun said, unable to stop himself. "This isn't a game, you know; this is real. Had that woman been lurking in the woods, she could have taken you away and sacrificed you and there would have been no way we could have stopped her, cuz you ignored the measures we put in place for your safety!"

Svana sniffled and looked down. Tina took Svana's hands in hers. "Svana, we just don't want you to get hurt, okay?" A big, fat tear dripped off Svana's nose down onot tina's hand.

"I- Ieee- I'm soooorryyyy!" Svana said, looking up. tears dibbld down her cheeks, and her face was all red.
