"If you ended up being hurt or worse cuz I ran away and left you here, I'd never be able to live with myself." Shaun steeled himself for the stranger's entrance.

Svana laughed. "But you do, too, Sky!" She said.

"Well, well, now. Id've thought you too smart to fall into that trap; I thought someone accompanying you would get stuck." Said a voice from behind Shaun. The man was tall, with elegant glasses and dressed surprisingly well. He looked human, but that was when he was in the shade; if he stepped into the shaft of moonlight that shone through the sole window in the living room, he'd become sometihng else entirely.

Shaun turned to face the man. "Who are you and what do you want with Athena?" He was determined not to let him hurt Tina, whatever happened.

Sky sighed, "Why do people keep saying that? I don't feel like I have any powers. I've never used any powers."

[spirit_queen]

"Revenge." He said. "Her father cursed me." He stepped into the moonlight, and his body rippled and changed. Gone was the ordinary human; in front of them was now a hideous werwolf, so large he had to bend over to fit in the house. Unlike the usual Hollywood variety, this one was quite furry, and its face slightly more wolf-like.

Shaun had seen far worse things, such as Fenrir in his wolf form, so was unfazed. "You probably deserved it. That's no reason to attack Athena. And if I have anything to do with it, you won't get to do anything else to her."

Sky looked at the ground. "I think I'm going to go watch some more educational shows on TV."

Shaun, beware the bite; if he sinks his teeth into you, you might become one, too. Tina said telepathically.

Lycaon growled and took a swipe at Shaun with his paw.

Sky left the room and went downstairs to watch more TV without another word..
